Organic or not?

Many gardeners pitch themselves as “organic” and not many truly are. So as a client how do you determine whether your gardener is the real deal?

I guess the first question is “who cares?” and for me the answer is obvious. Organic horticulture does not harm the land, you and your garden. In fact it helps, with organics being all about building soils and soil biology to create gardens which thrive. It is better for the health of garden, you and your family.

So how do you tell an organic gardener from one who is not? At Blue Duck we only use organically certified products and those which are allowed under organic certification schemes like BioGro. For example organic WeedX for weed control and Vertseas certified liquid seaweed for foliar and root feeding. Similarly we are trained in organic horticulture and have spent years building experience. See the About page on our website.

Hopefully thats helps and you’ll care as much as we do.
