Head Gardener at Blue Duck Gardens. My grandfather was a great gardener. As a little boy I followed him around the garden with a tennis racquet, trying to deal with the white cabbage butterflies. Fast-forward to 2000. I took off on a journey through gardens, farms and orchards in Eastern Europe and Australia. On my travels I learnt the value of organic methods. Working with nature, not against it. The journey culminated in formal training in organic horticulture in Golden Bay, taught by some of the best organic gardeners in the country. 21 years of gardening down the track and Blue Duck Gardens was launched. Why the name Blue Duck Gardens? My son came up with it. I hope that seeing the name up in lights brings him joy. I’d love to work with you. Please give me a call.
